Basketball: Gibraltar lose to a very strong Moldovan side
Gibraltar succumbed to a very strong Moldovan team. The scoreline was no real surprise as the Moldovan's are a able to boast a wide selection of players that play abroad. In fact most of their players are either professional or semi professional. The Moldovans are strong favourites to win the competition but should find the Andorrans difficult to manage. Especially since the Andorrans won the competition in 2004.
Gibraltar's top scorer was A. Guerrero Torres ( pictured) with a 
total of 16 points. Angel is a Spanish national, from La Linea but is able to represent Gibraltar as he has been playing for a local side for more than three years.
Gibraltar's next game will be tomorrow, against the Andorrans at 16:00. We are sure they will continue to perform to the highest standards and represent Gibraltar with pride.
