Special Olympics: Gibraltarians do well in the pool

Gibraltar's two competitors have now ended their participation in the 2006 games, being held in Rome, finishing with very respectable positions:

Dorian Zammit: 5th position in a time of 01:08.47 in the 50m freestyle.

Douglas Pitaluga: 5th position in a time of 01:05.05 in the 50m backstroke and cam ejust behind Dorian in the 50m freestyle to end in 6th place.

Congratulations to our local boys, we wish them all the best in their sporting endeavours.
