Football: Gibraltar squad selected to play against SV Vollmond.

The following 16 players have been selected to represent Gibraltar in the forthcoming match against SV Vollmond (Selection of Switzerland from the Alternative Swiss League) on Saturday 4th November 2006. kick off at 4pm.

As can be noted from the squad selection, the goalkeeper J Chipolina has been selected, despite playing for Atletico Zabal who play in one of the Cadiz regional leagues. It is great to see that in this case the opportunity of playing for a Spanish side has not been detrimental to the player's selection for the GFA squad.

Other footballing news: The Disciplinary Committee of the GFA, has noted and welcomed the fact that since the beginning of the season there has only been one red card in all senior matches.
