Ten Pin Bowling: Gibraltar youth championships

The Gibraltar Tenpin Bowling Association recently held the Gibraltar National Youth Championships at the MEGABOWL in Marbella. The event was well attended by a total of 16 youths from the GTBA. All players played a total of 4 games split into 3 age groups. The initial results were as follows:

During the quarter final stage most games were on a very tight score and had to wait for the last frame to be bowled in order to arrive at the winner. In the Semi finals Kimberly’s game versus Alistair was completely down to the last ball

At the end of the day Michael Wood ended in the top place with an average of 162.57

The top score of the day was done by Alistair Napoli with a score of 196

The XXX European Gold Cup will be taking place in
Foetz Luxembourg from the 7th to 12th May 2006. The following players have been selected from the Ranking list in order to participate in this Tournament. It is the first time that Gibraltar through the GTBA is attending this event which has to be played by persons with an average of less than 180 for the men and 170 for the women.
