Karate-Do Shotokai Gibraltar prepares for arrival of their Sensai

Karate-Do Shotokai Gibraltar is affiliated with KDS in the UK. Their Sensei and chief instructor is Mitsusuke Harada (pictured) who in 1943 attended his first lesson at Master Gichin Funakoshi's dojo 'The Shotokan'. He has trained with many notable Masters including Master Motonobu (Genshin) Hironishi, Master Yoshitaka Funakoshi, Master Shigeru Egami , Master Wado Uemura, Master Yoshiaki Hayashi and Master Tadao Okuyami. Harada Sensei visits the dojo at least once a year to instruct at the club's Summer Courses. Fellow martial artists, regardless of style, are always welcome to the club, to join in their practice sessions, or after training, join them in their bar and discuss the finer points of the art.

Gibraltar Summer School

The annual Gibraltar, Summer school, will take place between 24 June and 2 July 2006. Further details about timings for the Summer School will follow on their site
