Marathon Kayaker back in Gibraltar and makes final preparations before heading off again

Werner Stoltz, the marathon kayaker, who is kayaking from London to Durban (South Africa) is back in Gibraltar:

Before I start off I would like to update you all on my current situation.
As some of you might know I am now back in Gibraltar again. I had some
visa problems in Morocco and was forced to return to Gibraltar to re-apply
for all my visas and make some modifications on my kayak. So in case you
were wondering I am still kayaking, I’m just waiting for the visas which
should be with me just before Christmas.

Secondly, I would like to welcome Miguel and Willem to K4A.Miguel will be
helping Sightings designs by taking over the running of the new website. So keep tuning in as it will be up and running real
soon.Willem Hart is a man who has been following my progress since my
first trip and he has now offered his support and help with all the
planning and logistics.

I would also like to mention that I do realise I have not been doing much
on the diary side, this will also be sorted out soon and I hope to do
twice weekly dairy updates with a lot of new pictures and some video
dairies and footage of the last 5 months. So just click on the star at

Once again, thank you all for all he support ,the wonderful emails and all
the help you have offered ,also a special thank you to Kobus Pieters for
his Donations of more an R7000.00 over the past 3 months.

Also, just to remind you ALL, we are still taking donations, so feel free to make a donation on
the donations page or again contact any of he k4a team to get bank details

May you all have a wonderful Christmas and experience the real meaning of
it this year.

God bless
Werner Stoltz
