Handball: Eight boys make Gibraltarian handballing history against a side from San Martin del Tesorillo
The players that made history by representing Gibraltar for the first time in Handball were:-

Stefan Gonzalez
Ashley Baglietto
Dean Penfold
The first matches played by our youngsters were held today, 8th December, in San Martin del Tesorillo.
Three games were held in total with a balance of two defeats and one draw. A very creditable performance by our lads considering that it was their first ever game and that the opposition have been playing together for two seasons. Each and every player should be c ongratulated.
The establishment of handball in Gibraltar is surely not an easy task, when vying for players from many of the other sports available to youngsters in Gibraltar.
The game of handball, is a truly exciting and dynamic sport that requires a high level of fitness and skill, something that our young players have already begun to develop.
