Squash: 2006 Gibraltar Open currently underway

The Gibraltar Open, sponsored by Beck’s and OEM, commenced on the 12th June and culminates with the final on Saturday 24th June 2006.

Seeded players from abroad have been taking part this week so it promises to be a great squash week at the Gibraltar Squash Centre, on South Pavillion Road.

There are five categories being contested:

Ladies and Mens competition A, B and C sections.
Juniours (under 16 and under 13)
Veterans (over 40)
Vintage (over 50)

There is a total prize money of £1,850 up for grabs:
Men
Winner £600
Runner up £350
Semi Finalists £125
Quarter Finalists £75
Women
Winner £150
Runner up £100
Semi Finalists £50
