The hald ended with strike from Lee Casciaro that struck the crossbar.

Man UTD started the half the strongest with plenty of pressure being inflicted on the Newcastle defence, by Montovio.

With 15 minutes gone in the second half, Duarte fired a cracker into the box, which was put away by Alvez’s left foot.

Macnhester UTD went on to score a goal, hammered in by Montovio on the half volley, whilst on the run. Manchester UTD took encouragement from the goal and pressured the Newcastle defence.
